Saved £13 by replacing the LED and power supply in a PIR LED lamp. This required two soldered joints for the LED, with mains connections by screw terminals. Make a careful note of which goes where before removing the duff components. The LED tags are marked with polarity (Red = +) Remember to add a smear of heat sink compound on the rear of the LED before mounting. Pictures show: The new LED installed. note the sleeving is re-used: it's important the reflector cannot touch the tags. The new power supply installed. You may have to drill new fixing holes to suit. The PIR wires are yet to be connected (if it has one).
